ఏపీ సీఎం చంద్రబాబు నేడు విద్యుత్ రంగంపై శ్వేతపత్రం విడుదల చేయడం తెలిసిందే. దీనిపై మాజీ మంత్రి, వైసీపీ నేత కాకాణి గోవర్ధన్ రెడ్డి ధ్వజమెత్తారు. చంద్రబాబు విడుదల చేసిన శ్వేత పత్రం నిండా అబద్ధాలేనని అన్నారు. జగన్ ను విమర్శించడానికే శ్వేత పత్రం తీసుకొచ్చినట్టుందని మండిపడ్డారు. 

ఎక్కడైనా శ్వేత పత్రం అంటే సంబంధిత రంగంలో ఉన్న స్థితిగతులను వివరిస్తారని, అందుకు భిన్నంగా చంద్రబాబు వైసీపీ ప్రభుత్వంపై విమర్శలు చేయడానికే ప్రాధాన్యత ఇచ్చారని కాకాణి పేర్కొన్నారు.

అసలు, విద్యుత్ రంగాన్ని భ్రష్టుపట్టించిందే చంద్రబాబు అని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. చంద్రబాబు హయాంలో డిస్కంలు కుప్పకూలాయని తెలిపారు. రాష్ట్ర ప్రయోజనాలను పట్టించుకోకుండా విద్యుత్ ఒప్పందాలు చేసుకుంది ఎవరు, చంద్రబాబు కాదా? అని ప్రశ్నించారు. సౌర విద్యుత్ ధరలు బాగా తగ్గిపోయిన స్థితిలో కూడా యూనిట్ కు రూ.7 చెల్లించేలా ఒప్పందం చేసుకున్నారని ఆరోపించారు. ట్రూఅప్ చార్జీలకు ఆద్యుడు చంద్రబాబేనని విమర్శించారు. 

చంద్రబాబు పదవి నుంచి తప్పుకునే నాటికి విద్యుత్ రంగంలో ఉన్న అప్పు రూ.86,215 కోట్లు అని వెల్లడించారు. 

2014 నుంచి 2019 వరకు టీడీపీ పాలన చూస్తే వృద్ధి రేటు 1.9 శాతం మాత్రమేనని... కానీ జగన్ పాలనలో విద్యుత్ రంగంలో వృద్ధిరేటు 4.7 శాతంగా నమోదైందని కాకాణి వెల్లడించారు. జాతీయ సగటు కంటే ఇదే అధికమని, కానీ చంద్రబాబు ఇవేవీ చెప్పకుండా... జగన్ ను విమర్శించేందుకు అధిక ప్రాధాన్యత ఇచ్చారని తెలిపారు.

Everyone knows the utterly inexperienced and overhyped Babu, Pawan and Lokesh over-promised schemes left and right recklessly and desperately that are not viable by any means to win elections and under-deliver them using numbers game and shuffling things around like using only 1.5 lakh volunteers instead of 2.6 lakh volunteers and each volunteer serving 100 families instead of 50 families and trying to fool the electorate! BJP distanced themselves from the unrealistic and bloated manifesto for a reason!! Voters are not idiots.

PROBABLE CHANGES

A senior official in the Andhra Pradesh secretariat familiar with the development said the Naidu government is contemplating cutting down the number of volunteers from 2.60 lakh to around 1.50 lakh and utilize their services effectively.

“Now, each volunteer will be asked to look after 100 beneficiaries. Alternatively, there will be only five volunteers in each gram panchayat,” the official said.

Secondly, the Naidu government doesn’t want to give a free hand to the volunteers, unlike in the previous government, but they will be asked to work under gram panchayats or village secretariats.

“They will be asked to assist the village secretaries in delivering the benefits of welfare schemes to the households at their doorsteps. As per the assurance given by Naidu during the elections, they will get a remuneration of ₹10,000 per month,” he said.

Thirdly, the government is also contemplating recruiting the village volunteers on a three-year contract, and depending on their performance, it might extend their services or recruit fresh candidates in their place (for a lower remuneration as freshers and save money). “This will give a sense of accountability for the volunteers,” the official quoted above said.

The government might also rename the volunteers as “gram sevak” in the villages and “ward sevak” in the urban areas. “The cabinet will take a policy decision on whether to remove all the existing volunteers and take up fresh recruitment or continue them based on their performance,” the official added.
