Using Email for login is more secure!

Username is less secure and being discontinued by many websites (there are still some old sites using username and they are less secure)

You probably set up the 2-Factor Authentication while signing up.

You can disable it in your Account Settings and use just email/password for login.

2FA is just an optional and additional layer for max security.

similar dbs never used email concept.. infact I never used valid emails also for creating accounts.. ee db kosam email account create sesukunna..

For guest users who are not logged in, cached content is rendered for optimal performance.

For logged-in users, you'll always see live data. This is mentioned on our Help page which has a lot of helpful info.

Every website needs a valid email by default for account confirmation while signing up. That is the only link between the user and the site. If s/he opted in for Newsletter or if the site needs to send emails for notifications or forgotten password, those emails will bounce as undelivered if the email address is not valid.
