"MY WHOLE LIFE IS A BIG LIE"!!

holy crap! yet another movie glorifying drunkards, loafers and losers as heroes!

one son abandons his business, becomes a hopeless drinker drinking 5-6 times a day and arrives home only to fall flat on his face outside the door which the parents hear it everyday and they drag him inside everyday! so much so that he passes out unconscious in the bedroom from drinking where in the SAME bedroom his own sister is attempting suicide and he is not aware of it, cannot hear it even when the whole family is screaming, banging on the doors and windows, creating noise and commotion to stop it and to wake him up so he could stop it! can tollywood get any worse this????

the other son is a loafer flirting with multiple girls having daily raunchy rendezvous inside an old van wasting his precious academic years instead of laser-focussing on his studies.

why o'why portray these useless loser characters as heroes?? to make people believe it is ok to be a drinker, loafer and loser and everything will still be fine and they would become successful somehow (and probably land in America too) - like it happens in some movies? we are sick and tired of watching these disgusting movies. there is only one explanation to this - the directors themselves are drinkers (hopeless addicts who love alcohol more than they love their families) and loafers and try to portray their own favorite lifestyle on the silver screen for false gratification. what do you think?

father is a teacher and is forced to go to police station multiple times due to his loafer sons. major body transformations, caste pichi, oh my...

direction is bad, the story is formulaic, acting is bad, bad and nothing happens until the interval, director is clueless going nowhere without a goal, the audience is left clueless what the movie is about, even makes the father give a "philosophical speech" and still no clue what the movie is about.

this is an interesting and mind-boggling tech movie using surveillance device to time-shift 4 days before the incident

an educated Btech graduate junkie slum dog who wants to live in slums, doesn't want to work (like homeless people), deceives wife with false assets claiming fake job/income during marriage, depends on wife's earnings, stealing her money (!), drinking, swindles money, borrows money in the name of his wife and blows it on partying, doesn't take care of his wife and son, poses as a rich guy and tries to woo an NRI lady for money, yeah he plans to ditch/divorce wife and abandon his only son for the NRI and the list goes on... it confirms that many couples live under the same roof because they cannot afford divorce and maintaining a separate home.

that last fight is disturbing and the cameraman did a great job capturing in that tight space. their cute neighbor couple did a great job.

there are a few irrelevant dialogs and scenes but they are actually good and not annoying like the movies from south that have those annoying "aah, ooh..." like old people.

the illiteracy, poverty and slum life is captured realistically in its RAW, rustic, crude and naked format without glorifying anything with no facial makeups and all naturally which is on par with Balagam (at least in Balagam we see some makeup applied). kudos to the director for the daring attempt who knows how to make a movie!!

it doesn't have much story or twists (it's an example of some illiterate, poor families) but worth watching!

it's a neat movie with a couple of twists! weeping from the flashback got a bit stretched.

everyone acted well. ravi did fine and sameer did great.

especially the dead guy's mother, pramodini lived in her role "literally"! she should get more movie offers.

OMG! this movie is incredible!

"Welcome to Guantanamo...!" they managed to create the environment inside.

combat scenes are intense with awesome background music. you watch half way through and the story is just beginning. "eyes from the sky" guidance is not explored in other movies much.

to sum it up in one sentence -

SENSELESS DIALOGS AND STUPID COMEDY - ALL THE WAY...!!

the moment we see hyper aadi, we know it is going to be a CHEAP COMEDY movie. everyone (including doctors, cops) in the movie utters senseless dialogs making stupid comedy for absolutely NO reason which is annoying and ruin even the very little content in the movie which is cheaper than chillar politics. how can anyone stand that level of retarded stupidity?? I fail to understand.

the context of Shiva did not relate to the movie at all and they added that angle just because many movies these days are somehow connected/related to Gods and the producers wanted to cash on that angle. the context of pakistan and china trying to wage a war against india was too silly and executed very, very poorly like a drama - even kids on YouTube can do a better job of acting, filming and editing. there are not many incidents to demonstrate hero's enhanced capabilities after the surgery except one gas stove leak which was executed like a joke. the director gave a TINY twist at the end for the "sake of giving twist" and showing the only person remaining as the culprit. is that even a twist?? DUMB.

some people reviewed this as a concept movie but what is the concept here?

everyone acted below average. kokila (1990) was far better and rated 7/10.

hidimba with a shocking twist at the end was 4/5 but this one is a JOKE at 0/5 and a waste of time.

(added director apsar to my blacklist of directors, never to watch any of his stupid movies again)

if you are a dog lover, this movie with modern story telling is very touching to watch!

yet another tollywood movie with a "role model" junkie hero role => a loafer, lucha, lafanga, hopeless addict, drinker, smoker, fraud, corrupt (tries to woo a girl for money! beats up her boyfriend, wants to marry her even though he is jobless with no stability), degree failed, jobless, aimless, hopeless, useless, worthless, unproductive, irresponsible, good for nothing, stupid, plays cricket in his age of doing a job and reducing burden on family, depending on his poor parents for pocket money and money for alcohol, a liability to the poor old parents for all their sacrifices literally... with a cinematic rogam (ailment) that only exists in movies and not in real life. he comes home drunk in the night only to eat and sleep! with all these amazing qualities, awesome qualifications, a high-profile profession and rock-solid stability, why would any girl not fall for him? or does she?

what is the obsession of these tollywood directors portraying such useless junkies as heroes in every movie? what message do they want to give to the youth?? that it's ok to be a junkie and being a junkie can make them successful? what’s with the Indian mentality of getting married even with no education and making babies even with no job? we are sick and disgusted to watch these "role-model" heroes time and again.

yeah, those cringe dialogs too:

"enduk call chesavo adi cheppu"

"nannu odilestunnava?"

"nuvvante naakistam ledu, nuv nakoddu"

"anthena? fix aa?"

the hero gets hurt from a cricket ball and his mouth gets stuck in smiling position permanently (cinematic rogam ailment). if he is smiling ear-to-ear the entire movie, why would the audience get moved even if he goes through bad times or even if he dies?? it's a silly concept. when i watched the trailer a few months ago, I thought this would be funny but the junkie character ruined it literally.

obviously, the director was clueless, did not know how to end the story and took a different path in the end and the viewers are not touched. not one bit. zero story and just a waste of time. I watched it only to see how bad a movie can be made and to write a review.

Payal did a good job. Dialogs are ok. The investigation involves some psychology. The villain's mansion is lavish and luxurious!

Our movies should be at least at this level (above average) but they will produce only masala movies to make more easy money.

The movie is above average 3.5/5.

a neat movie that goes straight into the story neatly without fluff. rani did a great job.

4/5 for the efforts.

the graphics inside the cave are a bit mediocre.

it's a neat and unique movie.

the long drive, the flashback, Kasi tour are interesting. especially the flashback into village life and simple dialogs portray "Balagam" vibes.

a bit slow and almost 3 hours long with a couple of irrelevant scenes/dialogs (typical south movie).

transitions from the night sky to a pond of water, desert to greenland, wetland to desert are seamless.

sand storms, vulture fight, desert snakes and camera are good. underwater song is good. amala did well.

as with all south movies, that unnecessary "ah, ooh..." shaky voice in dialogs like old people (even when they are young and healthy) is the annoying drawback but it is not excessive in this one.

if their names are najeeb and hakeem, how come they cannot speak or understand hindi?? is that a flaw in the story?

why does someone need to herd goats in the desert where there is no grass, greenery or water?

too much hype with low production values except for the twist at the very end. we've seen even bigger twists in the last one year too

The first 25 minutes are just too slow getting nowhere except for the first minute showing Kurukshetra post war scenes.

Creating a futuristic dystopian world is cool mashing up Star Wars, Mad Max, Dune and other movies but they did not use enough closeup/in-the-face 3D effects.

The story doesn't make sense with regard to the "Rule of Threes" vs scarcity of water the people are living there: a human being will die in 3 minutes without breathing (asphyxiation, blood loss), 3 hours without shelter in an extreme environment (exposure), 3 days without water (dehydration), 3 weeks without food (starvation).

So how did they survive without enough water in a hot desert??

BGM is good but the songs are lousy and sucked big time.

a great movie filmed in the beautiful china!

it's a treat to watch jackie and jet li in a 5+ minute fight like the masters they are!!
