such a wonderful momma, she carries all her kittens to a safer place. no hands, no fingers, no voice, not much brain with terrible learning disability, just a 4-legged animal that carries everything by her mouth and yet conceives and raises half-a-dozen kittens on the streets without the male dad cat anywhere around to help her raise the babies and without a stable life or a safe place to stay and needs to scavenge for food on a daily basis in addition to raising her babies all by herself! no wonder they are so skinny. some days they have to go far away searching for food, get scared away by dogs and other predators and lose their way back to their kittens  not all kittens live long to become cats before they are dead. life on the streets is hard, hazardous and very, very harsh.

whereas we humans blessed with brains and intelligence that keeps us on the top of the food chain, voice to communicate, hands and fingers to learn and do things, stable home and life, education to get a job, a job to pay pay bills, a car for transportation, a family to thrive, social support, etc. see the STARS (as a couple) to conceive and raise even one child!

so, who is greater?? animals or humans?

cats are Kings and Queens (we are their SLAVES!) and yet we have a better life but many of them have miserable life on the streets, living in the cold snow, harsh conditions, eating rotten food out of garbage cans or mostly starving! they don't even remember when was the last time they ate or have any clue when they would get to eat their next time. most of them are skinny and weak leading to health issues.

please do adopt a pet 🐈🦮 if you can... it doesn't cost much and in return you will get unconditional love ❤️ and  unlimited fun 🙂 especially, if you have kids 👦👧, it's the BEST thing to have a pet or two. once you adopt one, you'll wonder why you did not consider it much earlier.

if you are an outdoorsy extrovert with a ton of free time, a dog is better suited for you. however, you have to walk her out (even in the middle of the night if needed), bathe her, take her for grooming, etc. regularly as they are very dependent. if you are a busy and indoorsy introvert, a cat is best suited for you. cats are very independent and are easy to care for as they don't need to be walked out (they use the indoor litter pan), no need to be bathed (they lick themselves and groom all day and all night and keep themselves squeaky clean), etc. just provide a cat with food, water, a scratch post and a litter pan and they will take care of themselves. cats are neat freaks and the cleanest animals on the planet.

ఆఫ్రికా దేశమైన నమీబియాలో కరువు విలయ తాండవం చేస్తుంది. అక్కడి ప్రజలు తినేందుకు ఆహారంలేక, తాగేందుకు నీరులేక విలవిల లాడుతున్నారు. గత 100 ఏళ్లలో ఎన్నడూ లేనంత కరవు ఆ దేశంలో తాండవిస్తోంది. దీంతో ప్రజల ఆకలి తీర్చేందుకు నమీబియా ప్రభుత్వం కఠిన నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది.

 

Namibia Plans To Kill Animals

ఆ దేశ అడవుల్లో సంచరించే 700 అరుదైన అడవి జంతువులను వధించి.. ఆ మాంసం ప్రజలకు పంపిణీ చేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించింది. దీనిలో భాగంగా 83 ఏనుగులు, 30 హిప్పోలు (నీటి గుర్రాలు), 60 అడవి దున్నలు, 50 ఇంపాలాలు, 100 బ్లూ వైల్డ్‌ బీస్ట్, 300 జీబ్రాలను చంపబోతున్నట్లు ఆ దేశ పర్యావరణ, అటవీ పర్యాటక మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ సోమవారం ప్రకటించింది. ప్రొఫెషనల్ వేటగాళ్లతో వీటిని చంపనునున్నట్లు తన ప్రకటనలో పేర్కొంది. నైరుతి ఆఫ్రికాలో కరవు ప్రాంతాల్లోని ప్రజలకు సాయపడటమే లక్ష్యంగా ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నామని అటవీ మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ వెల్లడించింది.

నమీబియాలో కరువు ప్రభలడంతో ఈ ఏడాది ఆగస్టులో అత్యవసర పరిస్థితిని ప్రకటించింది. 14 లక్షల మంది జనాభా అంటే ఆ దేశంలో దాదాపు సగం మంది ఆకలితో అలమటిస్తున్నారు. అక్కడి అడవుల్లో వన్య ప్రాణుల సంఖ్య అధికంగా ఉందని, వీటిని వధిస్తే అక్కడి నీటి వనరులపై ఒత్తిడి తగ్గుతుందని అధికారులు భావిస్తున్నారు. దక్షిణాఫ్రికాలో ఏనుగులు అధికంగా ఉంటాయి. అక్కడ దాదాపు 2 లక్షలకు పైగా ఏనుగులు ఉన్నాయి. గతేడాది నీటి వనరులు ఎండిపోవడంతో వందలాడి ఏనుగులు మరణించాయి. ఇప్పటికే ఆ దేశంలో కరువు ప్రభావిత ప్రాంతాల్లో ఆహారం అందించడానికి 150కిపైగా అటవీ జంతువులను వధించి, మాంసం పంపిణీ చేశారు. బోట్సువానాలో 1,30,000 ఏనుగులు ఉండగా.. 2014లో ఏనుగుల వేటను అక్కడి ప్రభుత్వం నిషేధించింది. కానీ, కరువుతో అలమటిస్తున్న స్థానికులు తీవ్రంగా ఒత్తిడి చేయడంతో 2019లో దీనిని తొలగించింది.

దక్షిణాఫ్రికాలోని అనేక దేశాలలో నమీబియా ఒకటి. దీనిపై ఎల్ నినో ప్రభావం అధికంగా ఉంది. దీంతో నమీబియాలో వర్షపాతం బాగా తగ్గిపోయింది. వినాశకరమైన కరువు తాండవిస్తుంది. ఈ ప్రాంతంలో వర్షపాతం తగ్గడానికి దారితీసిన కారణాల్లో మానవుడు కలిగించే వాతావరణ సంక్షోభం ప్రధానమైంది. అధిక ఉష్ణోగ్రతలతో కూడిన వర్షాభావ పరిస్థితుల కారణంగా పంటలు ఎండిపోయాయి. ఈ ప్రాంతంలో నివాసం ఉంటున్న పదిలక్షల మంది ప్రజలు ఆకలితో అలమటిస్తున్నారు. ఆపన్న హస్తం కోసం ఇతర దేశాలవైపు ఆశగా ఎదురు చేస్తున్నారు.
