A road accident occurred this morning on the Outer Ring Road near Sultanpur, claiming the life of Cantonment MLA Lasya Nanditha. The incident took place within the jurisdiction of the Patancheru Police Station. In light of this, the Patancheru police have initiated an investigation and identified the circumstances that led to the accident involving the MLA's car.
In response, the police revealed, "MLA Lasya Nanditha had returned from Sadashivpet yesterday and went out this morning for breakfast."
"The MLA's car entered the Outer Ring Road near Shameerpet. After traveling a short distance on the ORR, the accident occurred while attempting to exit. The MLA's car collided forcefully with a tipper truck ahead. Subsequently, the car lost control and hit the roadside railing. Lasya Nanditha died from severe head injuries and internal bleeding, as mentioned in the postmortem report," the police explained.
