Addressing a meeting held at Achampet assembly constituency as part of the preparatory session for the upcoming Parliamentary elections, KTR made it clear that he would not tolerate attacks on the BRS party activists. “We will bear it for a few more days. If they hit us with bricks, we will hit them with stones,” KTR warned.

KTR said had Revanth Reddy proclaimed earlier that he would become chief minister, the Congress party would not have won even 30 assembly seats. “No one thought that the Congress party will come to power in Revanth Reddy’s hometown. Revanth Reddy was not speaking as chief minister. Revanth Reddy’s old habits are coming to fore when he talks,” he alleged. He said people were seeing their faces while eagerly waiting for the credit of Rythu Bandhu scheme benefits after Revanth Reddy came to power.

He alleged that power-cuts and drinking water had started in Telangana under the Congress rule. “This is what change is all about,” he said. KTR alleged that the State government did not even have the wisdom to run Mission Bhagiratha scheme. He said the people of the State were eagerly waiting for gas cylinders for Rs 500 and Rs 2,500 pension per month scheme.

KTR said KCR was the leader, who brought Telangana. He said no one can erase the history of KCR bringing the Telangana State. He criticized CM Revanth Reddy as the person, who handed over all the water of the Krishna River to KRMB and put it in the Central government’s hands. He said if a party meeting is held in Nalgonda, a resolution will be passed in the Assembly and given to KRMB.
