Naidu predicts 160 Assembly seats for NDA in AP

Vijayawada: TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday exuded confidence that the TDP-BJP-Jana Sena alliance would storm to power in Andhra Pradesh by winning more than 160 Assembly seats. The former chief minister is also confident that the NDA will bag more than 400 Lok Sabha seats. “A resounding echo throughout Andhra Pradesh is heralding the dawn of a progressive era, resonating with the firm belief that the NDA will surpass 400+ in Lok Sabha and 160+ in the state Assembly,” Chandrababu Naidu posted on X.

As per the seat sharing agreement among three NDA partners in Andhra Pradesh announced last week, the TDP will contest 144 out of 175 Assembly seats and 17 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats. It left 31 Assembly seats and eight Lok Sabha seats for the two allies. While Jana Sena will contest 21 Assembly and two Lok Sabha seats, the BJP will field its candidates in 10 Assembly and six Lok Sabha constituencies. The TDP has already so far announced 128 candidates for Assembly polls while Jana Sena has announced seven candidates. The BJP is yet to announce its candidates. None of the NDA partners have declared candidates for the Lok Sabha elections.

160 seats? how's that even possible??

without doing anything, Jagan got 151 last election as a fresh cm while cbn got just 23 which was the voters' verdict and a slap on cbn's face for all his scams in the last 40 years in politics and doing nothing for the people and not keeping the promises made before elections.

after being the cm for 5 years (COVID impact inclusive) and implementing his promises, proving his honesty and working towards the betterment of the poor starting with education, employment, growth... to ALL the people without discrimination, promising only what is feasible and not fooling people, Jagan is very likely to win 175/175 or at least 160 at the minimum this time. CBN is projecting false confidence (like a salesman) that he is going to win. At the most, cbn will make some money out of selling tickets and relocate to Hyderabad along with his son pappu pulakesh and retire.

yellow pulkas who are receiving/enjoying benefits of the welfare schemes under Jagan will be doomed if cbn wins and cancels the welfare schemes as expected after becoming cm so he could pocket as much money as possible in these last couple of years of his career before he retires. but yellow pulkas refuse to acknowledge the benefits or foresee the realties as they are completely blinded by their casteism who believe cbn is nippu and God! That's a pity!
