Vijayawada: Political activity which witnessed a brief lull in the last week is set to increase with the key political parties taking poll positions. It is going to be ‘Siddham’ Vs ‘Prajagalam’ in the state from March 27.

YSRCP supremo and Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy will be launching bus yatra, while TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu will kick start the fourth phase of Prajagalam on Wednesday. Also, Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan and the BJP leaders are gearing up for the full-fledged campaign for the elections on the same day.

The YSRCP bus yatra starts from Idupulapaya and will be covering all districts in the state and Jagan will hold several public meetings, including one at Proddutur. The YSRCP is making all arrangements for mobilizing 1.50 lakh people for each meeting. He will also have interactive sessions with the people explaining the welfare schemes and achievements of the YSRCP government in the last five years.

The TDP Prajagalam will start on March 27 and conclude on March 31. Chandrababu Naidu will participate in roadshows and public meetings from March 27 to 31. He will cover 4 Assembly constituencies every day. He will tour Palamaneru, Nagari and Nellore rural mandal on March 2, Raptadu, Singanamala and Kadiri Assembly segments on March 28. Srisailam, Nandikotkuru and Kurnool on March 29 and Mydukuru, Prodduturu, Sullurupeta and Srikalahasthi on March 30. On the last day March 31, he will cover Kavali, Markapuram, Santanutalapadu and Ongole.

Naidu will highlight the misrule of the YSRCP government and will underline the need for the formation of TDP-Jana Sena-BJP alliance government in the state. It may be noted here that while the TDP is contesting in 144 Assembly and 17 Lok Sabha seats, the BJP will contest from six Lok Sabha segments and 10 Assembly segments and Jana Sena in two Lok Sabha constituencies and 21 Assembly constituencies.
