Trump found guilty on all 34 counts but blames the JURY verdict is rigged! 🤣

Vijay

Question

For Trump, anything that doesn't work in his favor is rigged, conflicted and corrupted: Election, DA, Judge, JURY, Trail, Verdict, Country, Constitution, Administration, Biden...

He claimed the last election was rigged even when HE was in power LOL. Why would he not say the JURY is rigged?? :emoji-lol-giggle:

BREAKING: Donald Trump’s responds after the verdict of his trial #DonaldTrump #Trump #Verdict

it's so sad the constitution allows a felon convicted on 34 counts to be a president (even if he is imprisioned), especially when a felon is allowed to rule a country like USA and make executive decisions. He has been just trying to take advantage of the white supremacist cult fan following he has even when he lost:

Former President Trump's New York felony conviction Thursday on 34 counts of falsifying business records related to a "hush money" payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels can't stop him from becoming president if the voters put him back in office, legal scholars seem to agree.

Trump, should he become president, cannot pardon himself from the New York conviction because it's a state conviction, rather than a federal one. Presidents are only empowered to pardon federal crimes.

Trump faces three more criminal cases — a state indictment in Georgia over alleged attempts to overturn the election; a federal indictment in Florida over his handling of classified documents; and a federal indictment in Washington, D.C., over alleged efforts to overturn the presidential election.

The counts each carry maximum sentences of four years, but legal experts say Judge Juan Merchan could give him probation or a shorter sentence as a first-time offender to a non-violent offense. The felony convictions don’t prohibit Trump from campaigning or potentially winning the White House.

Because this is Trump's first felony offense, his sentence is likely to be as light as probation or home confinement. If he does receive a jail sentence, it would probably be less than a year. In the event that Trump is sentenced to jail time, the location would depend on the duration of his sentence. If Trump faces more than one year in jail, New York law requires that his sentence be served in a New York penal facility. But if his sentence is shorter than a year, it would be served in a New York City correctional facility, such as Rikers Island. Trump is likely to appeal the conviction. That would push any jailtime until after the election.

Yes, even after being convicted on felony counts, the Thursday verdict does not impact Donald Trump's ability to seek another term in the White House. In any case, though possible imprisonment raises some hurdles for Trump's presidential campaign, his conviction does not restrict him from continuing to run — even if he's behind bars.

The Constitution is pretty clear − here are the qualifications to serve as president which don't speak about felony convictions:

  • Be a natural-born citizen of the U.S.
  • Have lived in the U.S. for at least 14 years
  • Be at least 35 years old

Yeah, his lawyer needs to tell him that the verdict is from the jury and not the judge.
